Since I was a young girl, I enjoyed working with children! Now as an adult, I continue to enjoy working with children and the disabled. Over the course of 5 years, I have cared for many of varying ages including newborns, twins, toddlers, preschoolers, elementary aged children, pre-teens and young adults including those with disabilities. I’ve have had families ive cared for both nights and long weekends while they were at functions or out of state. With a strong interest in people with disabilities I truly enjoy the challenges and opportunities I have faced. <br /> <br /> Over the course of time when I have provided childcare and medical care to families, I have fond memories from each of these families. One such memory was with a family, who I continue to keep in touch with, was very busy and I was able to record honorable moments and milestones. I was honored to share these moments. <br /> <br /> Children are able to learn and grow physically, educationally, socially and emotionally. I always have had their best interest and that of the family’s in mind. I treat each child as an individual and as if they are a part of my own family. As a childcare provider, each child’s personal health and safety is of utmost importance to me. <br /> <br /> Overall I am a very open hearted and outgoing person! I enjoy being part of a child’s growth. Although my parents are divorced, I have very fond memories of my childhood and I do my best so the children I care for can have memories that they spent with me. I have been serving in some form of childcare experience for over 5 years and can honestly say I love what I do! I feel that children are special and a joy to be around! My goal as a Provider is to have those in my care best interest in mind, make sure they are safe and having fun while also learning. Being employed in clinics and the Y I’ve worked with children in large groups as well as for holiday events. Therefore hands on activities really key in for me. Activities that I would like to incorporate in the daily plan for the family I care for would include arts & crafts, play dates, park outings and baking. If asked to describe the perfect family seeking a Nanny like me I would hope they would be outgoing, personable, and honest! I for sure have willingness to take care of 4+ children in one setting, I’d love to send references and resume for any position thank you.
